WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We envision a community of faith, which nurtures and prepares all for service in sharing the love of Christ. The mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Whether we are gathering in our sewing circle, cooking chickens for the BBQ and craft fair, painting the church or just dining together, we always enjoy and embrace the time to get together and fellowship or plan an event or talk about what we might do to help in our community or across the world.
At Cartecay UMC we love to help others. You might find us preparing food, building a fence, offering treats at Halloween in our Trunk or Treat event or hosting an animal blessings day. We love our Community Santa Party and working with Christmas Child Today. We have also helped out at Camp Glisson. We want to serve our community, our church family and others however we can find ways.
